Connecticut Fire Damaged Kitchen

A fire caused extensive damage in this Southern Litchfield County home. As demonstrated in the photos, the kitchen was substantially affected. SERVPRO of Newtown and Southern Litchfield County responded to the call. After confirming that the premises were secure and there was a safe working environment, we began demolition. Our production crew  removed the ceilings and ceiling insulation. The dry walls and all of the flooring also required removal.  The wooden  kitchen cabinetry and countertops were also not repairable. When our crew was finished with their work, the kitchen was a clean and structurally safe room in which the homeowner could rebuild.
