Water Damage Restoration After Tree Falls Through the Roof of Danbury Home
The storm that brought hail, high winds and even a tornado to the Danbury area in May left many homeowners without power and with major damage to their homes. This home suffered a big blow when a tree fell on it and went through the roof. Not only was there structural damage to the home, but there was also water damage from the rain.
First, the tree needed to be removed. Once that was clear, the roof was tarped to protect the house from further rain damage. Wet sheetrock from walls and ceilings as well as the insulation were removed and discarded.
Once the damaged materials were out of the house, the drying process began. Industrial grade air movers and dehumidifiers were used to dry the house out. The home was sanitized and ready to be rebuilt.
